Yes — every NaruBase™ product has a 7-day free trial before you need to buy a license.
Does NaruBase™ send my data to your servers?+
No. NaruBase™ products are local-first with no telemetry. The only optional outbound request is a version-manifest check for new releases, which can be disabled in product settings.
What operating systems does NaruBase™ support?+
Probe and Cloud currently ship for Windows, with macOS and Linux on the roadmap. Wireless already ships cross-platform for Windows, macOS, and Linux.
Is NaruBase™ a subscription?+
No. Each product is a one-time $39 purchase per user — no recurring fees, no subscription, no account required.
Can I get a license for my whole team?+

Windows shows a security warning when I try to install — is that normal?+
Yes. Windows SmartScreen flags any installer from a small publisher that hasn't yet built up a install-volume reputation with Microsoft — it doesn't mean anything is wrong with the file. Click "More info," then "Run anyway" to continue the install.
Can you customize a NaruBase™ product for our specific needs?+
Yes — and you don't need a formal spec to start. Most businesses have never written a software requirements document and don't know where to begin, which is exactly the problem starting from an existing NaruBase™ product solves: install it, try it yourself, and tell us in plain language what you'd want different — a different data source, a report it doesn't have, a workflow that doesn't quite match how your team works. That's a much easier starting point than describing what you want from a blank page, and it's exactly how we scope a custom version. We also build brand-new products the same way when nothing in the suite is close enough to start from — reach out through the contact page either way.
Is customization or a new build included in the $39 price?+
No. The $39 license covers a NaruBase™ product exactly as it ships — think of each one as an MVP: real, working software, priced low so you can try it before committing to anything bigger. Customizing an existing product, or building a new one from scratch, is separate project work billed hourly at the same $65–85/hr rate as our other engineering work, scoped and quoted before anything starts.
